Day 2

Scripture to Read: Psalm 8:1

God has displayed His splendor above all the heavens (Psalm 8:1, “…Who have displayed Your splendor above the heavens!”). His glory is so big that it’s beyond and above all that He has created. God is so much more glorious and excellent than all of His creation, and we know how magnificent His creation is. We have the incredible privilege to worship our Great God and have sweet fellowship with Him through our Lord Jesus Christ! Though we don’t get to see the fullness of God’s glory here, the good news is that He has revealed His glory through His creation (Romans 1:19–20) so we can know Him better. Here on earth, we only get to speak and hear God’s incredible Name and praise Him for who He has revealed Himself to be through Christ and His Word. But the angels and those who have gone before us into heaven see His glory and get to praise and worship Him face to face. But even then, God is still exalted far above the praise, honor, and blessings of His angels and children. We know Christ was exalted to the right hand of God (Psalm 110:1, Luke 22:69, Acts 7:55–60, Romans 8:34, Colossians 3:1, Hebrews 1:3, Hebrews 8:1, Hebrews 10:12, Hebrews 12:2, 1 Peter 3:22) and that He is the fullness of God the Father's glory and the express image of His person. God set His glory above the heavens, far above all principalities and powers, because none is more excellent than Him. He deserves our “Hallelujah!”

Day 3

God loves to display His glory, honor, and praise in the most unique ways. We read in Psalm 8:2, “From the mouth of infants and nursing babes You have established strength…” God uses children to declare His wonder and glory. Day 5

God’s creation is truly glorious because it shouts God’s creativity, wonder, and awe! God had David write this in Psalm 8:3–5, “When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, the moon and the stars, which You have ordained; 4 What is man that You take thought of him, and the son of man that You care for him? 5 Yet You have made him a...

Day 7

Just as Psalm 8 started with praise and adoration to our Great God and King, God led David to end Psalm 8 the same way. We need to learn to practice our praise of our Lord each day. We have so much to praise our Lord for if we don’t do anything other than just praise Him for all of His awesome attributes. Some passages to use as we praise our...
